San Francisco psychedelic garage rock band Thee Oh Sees performed at St. James Park in San Jose, California as main support for punk icons Iggy & the Stooges. Thee Oh Sees released their latest album “Floating Coffin’ featuring new single Minotaur in April 2013 on Castle Face Records.  With over 70+ acts performing over 4 days at 12 local venues this was the main event of the C2SV Music Festival + Technology conference with over 5,000 in attendance.

About C2SV:

C2SV is San Jose’s first music + technology and hosted over 70+ acts performing over 4 days at 12 local venues along with a technology conference celebrating the convergence of technology and creativity as only Silicon Valley can. Silicon Valley Business Journal is reporting that C2SV will return to San Jose next year after the tech-music festival’s inaugural run drew about 5,000 attendees. “I think we won over the skeptics,” said event organizer Dan Pulcrano, who is also executive editor and CEO at the Metro Silicon Valley weekly newspaper. “Like any first-time event, we didn’t get as many sponsors and attendees as we wanted, but we’ll have an easier time next year.” Pulcrano is trying to build a brand for Silicon Valley to rival SXSW, the Austin festival that originated as a music event and now draws throngs of tech executives looking to schmooze and booze.
