Hank3 at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz 10-12-2013

I don’t always listen to country but when I do I listen to Hank3.  Sheldon Hank Williams III performed at The Catalyst in Santa Cruz, California to a sold out crowd. Hank3’s live show is legendary performing close to 4 hours nightly spanning over six genres. Kicking off the night with a two hour set of country and hellbilly that was hands down the most rowdy, violent, drunken set of any brand of music you will ever witness.

After a five minute break Hank returned performing cuts from his latest acoustic punk release A Fiendish Threat. The rest of the evening was devoted to his doom metal project Attention Deficit Domination and closed the night out with his death metal “Cattlecore” 3 Bar Ranch, death metal riffs over the sound of cattle auctioneers. Oh and he stays afterwards to meet fans for another hour before he calls it a night, all for about $25 bucks!

Hank just completed the second leg of his US tour supporting two new releases: a double country album The Brothers of the 4 X 4 and a Misfits, Minor threat meets Hank3 meets acoustic punk album A Fiendish Threat, both released via Hank3 Records. If you missed him this time around don’t sweat it, Hank is a touring machine and will be back your way soon, check his website Hank3.com for the latest tour dates and news.
