San Francisco purveyors of doom Orchid performing at the Regency Ballroom on the second night of Kirk Von Hammett’s Fear Festevil. Heavily influenced by Black Sabbath along with naming the band after one of their songs, Orchid displayed a clinic of heavy doom that set the tone for for headliners Death Angel.  Lead by front man Theo Mindell (vocals, synthesizer, percussion) along with Mark Thomas Baker (guitar), Keith Nickel (bass guitar) and Carter Kennedy (drums).
