Live Review Photos Mayhem Black Metal Warfare II Union Transfer in Philly

lack metal titans Mayhem & Watain brought their satanic side-show back to Union Transfer in Philadelphia on the The Black Metal Warfare II tour. Back in January the monstrous pairing stormed through North America literally drenching audiences in blood (Black Metal Warfare I tour), however this time around Mayhem actually performed after having to cancel the tour’s first show in Philly due to visa issues. This leg will mark the end of the The Wild Hunt (2013 Century Media) touring cycle for Watain, while Mayhem are touring in support of Esotetic Warfare (2014 Season of Mist).

Photos Mayhem ignites San Francisco in old school Black Metal Warfare

Sweden’s Watain performing at the sold out DNA Lounge in San Francisco. Co-headlining with the scene legends Mayhem on the best one, two punch extreme bill of the year dubbed the Black Metal Warfare Tour. Norway’s Mayhem making a rare US appearance is what makes this tour so unique giving they invented the Black Metal mystique 20 years ago employing corpse paint, blast beats, & dead animal heads long before it was cool.

RockStar Mayhem Festival Kicks off Saturday

This year, the Mayhem Festival will feature four stages “including the Rockstar Energy Drink Main Stage, Coldcock American Herbal Whiskey Stage, The Headbang for the Highway/Sumerian Stage and the Victory Records Stage”.
