Stubble met up with infamous punk frontman Bloody F. Mess who recently crawled out of a self-imposed retirement joining forces with Oregon’s The Hollowbodys. Bloody rose to fame in the late eighties with appearances on the Phil Donahue Show and Rolanda, opening for GG Allin on the legendary “Hated in the Nation” Tour, and as John Wayne Gacy’s BFF. We talk about the Ready Willing Unstable tour, upcoming live release from Black and Blue Records, a new 7-inch single ‘Tramp Stamp Blues’, and conjugal visits with serial killers.

Stubble caught up with Paul Waggoner and Dustie Waring of progressive metal band Between the Buried and Me at Slim’s in San Francisco to discuss their new EP, touring in a RV, and death metal potatoes.. BTBAM signed to Metal Blade Records in early 2011 and a few short months later released concept EP ‘Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues’.
Since 2008 on every third Saturday in April, record stores across the globe have celebrated Record Store Day. A day conceived to bring consumers out from behind their computers, and down to their local independent record shops where they can find special limited releases from a variety of artists; as well as some live in store appearances. Ozzy Osbourne, Bad Brains, & Mastodon are just a few of the artists expected to release limited vinyl for this years event.
Reunited and it feels so good. System of a Down, ending over a year of build up, has announced a string of US tour dates before heading out to Europe. And now you know, the New Growth in Music.
